What is CrossFit all about?
In the words of CrossFit's founder, Coach Greg Glassman, CrossFit is: "Constantly varied, high-intensity functional movement which elicits an unprecedented increase in work capacity, measured across broad time and modal domains"
Say what?! Here's a shortened version: "Constantly varied functional movement, executed at high intensity"

Not only do we want you to learn the fundamentals, we need you to learn them! We can't stress enough the importance of mastering the fundamentals before progressing. Don't worry...we'll make you work, you can count on that! During the fundamentals class we'll be able to assess your fitness level, experience, and your goals and expectations. It is also during this class that you will learn the foundational movements and methodology of our workouts.

Understanding CrossFit
The CrossFit journey is one of hard work and determination. You must adopt a certain responsibility for your own health and fitness. We will help you with the movements, ensure that you are executing them safely, and push you further than you ever thought possible...yes, we will do this for you! Here's what we need YOU to do: make your health and fitness a priority in your life, give us 100% each and every WOD, and immerse yourself in learning CrossFit methodology. You will not learn everything you need to know about CrossFit overnight--it is a lifelong learning experience. But we believe this learning experience is possibly one of the most valuable of its kind. Not only will you achieve a level of fitness beyond what you've ever expected, but you will also discover new things about yourself. You will develop a confidence in your abiliites in and out of the gym, you will make lasting friendships, and you'll have a lot of fun doing it! Is it too bold of statement to say that CrossFit is a life-changing experience? No...not by a long shot, because it most definitely is. It's up to you to come on out and give it a try and see if it is in fact for you. And if you discover that it is for you, then you will know nothing else of "conventional" fitness. Two words: CrossFit works!
